Breed framework
Breed is a Java 5 game programming framework, designed to make your life easier with:
- JOGL (the Java OpenGL binding)
- Keylisteners in a FPS (frame per second) setting
- Representing actors in 2D and 3D worlds.
Currently, the status is incubating, and no API release has been made yet.
I use the framework by myself for testing purposes, in the following demonstrations:
- Alien Breed clone (2002); top-view scrolling shooter.
- K-Out (2006); defender clone in a 3D tube instead of a 2D sheet.
- Orbiter (2008); visualises Kepler orbits in 3D with variable camera.
Only the Orbiter has been release-worthy (2009) so far. Use at your own risk.
